HP RAID Software for OpenVMS uses RAID technology to manage groups of disk drives as arrays. This powerful product supports Striping (RAID Level 0) for enhanced I/O performance and Striping with Parity (RAID Level 5) for enhanced data availability on both VAX and Alpha platforms.
Features in this product include:
Disk Striping for the OpenVMS environment (RAID Level 0), disk striping with parity for the OpenVMS environment (RAID Level 5), and partitioning of arrays into multiple "virtual disks" for easier system management.
