PATHWORKS 32 v7.4

HP PATHWORKS 32 v7.4 is released and is available to customers.

The main enhancements of this release include the following:

  • Support for Windows XP, in addition to existing support for Windows NT 4.0 (Intel and Alpha), Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, and Windows 2003.
  • Support for Standy-by, Hibernate, and Suspend Power Management features on Windows 2000, and Windows XP.
  • Support for file and print services over DECnet NetBIOS connections on Windows XP and Windows 2000. As with the previous release, these services are also available on Windows NT, Windows 98, and Windows 95. PATHWORKS 32 software provides the ability to connect to, and disconnect from, PATHWORKS servers over the DECnet transport. Users access file and print services through the Windows interface. Users can also connect to and disconnect from their services from the DOS prompt.

The DECnet transport and DECnet utilities (network file transfer, network management, terminal transports) continue to be available for all supported Windows systems. For information on other supported transports and network connectivity components, and other features, please refer to the latest software product description (SPD).
