Password Station from XuiS is a self-service password administration solution that allows users to securely reset their forgotten passwords. Users enrolled into Password Station are challenged to provide answers to a set of chosen questions, and once authenticated, can change their passwords-according to their company's password configuration rules. Optionally, passwords may also be reset by using an automated telephone system.
Password Station runs on Windows under Microsoft's IIS (Internet Information Services), but through network services, it also allows passwords to be synchronized across multiple platforms and operating systems, including OpenVMS, and applications such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, Lotus Notes, and SAP. This flexibility and scalability provides a unified enterprise-wide password reset solution and helps the enterprise reduce support costs and increase operational efficiency.
