HP OpenVMS system management tools strategy
The strategy for OpenVMS system management calls for an integrated management environment in which OpenVMS systems are managed from a Windows platform. Tools and solutions are available to enable management in three ways:
- Departmental-level tools that address several specific functional areas such as user account management, performance management, and system resource management
- Enterprise management frameworks via integration with HP OpenView and individual products from third-party partners
- OpenVMS integration with HP Systems Insight Manager (SIM), the corporate management solution
