To expand the HP SSL for OpenVMS self-extracting file, enter one of the following commands:

$ RUN HP-I64VMS-SSL-V0104-0453-1.PCSI$COMPRESSED_SFX_I64EXE ! for V1.4-453 on an Integrity servers system

$ RUN HP-AXPVMS-SSL-V0104-0453-1.PCSI$COMPRESSED_SFX_AXPEXE ! for V1.4-453 on an Alpha system

$ RUN HP-I64VMS-SSL-V0104-0335-1.PCSI_SFX_I64EXE ! for V1.4 on an Integrity servers system

$ RUN HP-AXPVMS-SSL-V0104-0332-1.PCSI_SFX_AXPEXE ! for V1.4 on an Alpha system

$ RUN HP-I64VMS-SSL-V0103-0284-1.PCSI_SFX_I64EXE ! for V1.3 on an Integrity servers system

$ RUN HP-AXPVMS-SSL-V0103-0281-1.PCSI_SFX_AXPEXE ! for V1.3 on an Alpha system

$ RUN CPQ-VAXVMS-SSL-V0101-B-1.PCSI-DCX_VAXEXE ! for V1.1-B on a VAX system

At the "Decompress into (file specification):" prompt, press return. The system expands the file and names the resulting files *.PCSI (on Version 1.1-B) and *.PCSI$COMPRESSED and *.PCSI$COMPRESSED_ESW (on Version 1.3, Version 1.4, Version 1.4-453).

The .*_ESW file is an encrypted, signed manifest. If you copy the kit to another location, keep the kit and manifest file in the same directory.

You do not need to expand the PCSI$COMPRESSED file; PCSI installs from the compressed kit directly.

All OpenVMS kits are signed using HP Code Signing Service (HPCSS). A new companion file, .*_HPC is created and is provided along with the kit. The kit is then verified using the companion file.

See the Secure Delivery documentation for more information.
