HP Firefox Web Browser for OpenVMS

Hewlett-Packard is pleased to provide you with the HP-supported, customer release version of HP Firefox Web Browser for OpenVMS (based on Mozilla Firefox).

Firefox Web Browser (FWB) V2.0-18 for OpenVMS Integrity servers is based on Firefox V2.0.0.18.

The Firefox Web Browser is based on the Mozilla open-source project. More information on Firefox can be found at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/.

FWB is licensed as part of the OpenVMS operating system license and provides a full-featured, customizable browser with integrated web-browsing and security; and an available Internet Relay Chat (IRC).

FWB includes support for the following features:

  • HyperText Markup Language (HTML 4.01)
  • Cascading Style Sheets (CSS1/2)
  • Document Object Model (DOM1/ 2)
  • eXtensible Markup Language (XML)
  • Resource Definition Framework (RDF)
  • Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
