A certificate request file is an unsigned certificate.
To view a certificate request file, do the following:
Type the file specification to the certificate request directory to find files with a .CSR extension:
Select a certificate request file.
View the certificate request details:
Subject
Public key information
Signature algorithm
Issuer
Validity (inception and expiration dates)
