Chapter 5 “Preparing to Upgrade in an OpenVMS Cluster Environment” supplements Chapter 4 “Before Upgrading the OpenVMS Operating System” with additional tasks you must perform before upgrading an OpenVMS Cluster system.

Chapter 6 “Upgrading the OpenVMS Operating System” describes how to upgrade the operating system.
